Pioneer Men's SING
(Spirituality in Nature Group)

The Pioneer Men's SING (Spirituality in Nature Group) is a community of those identifying as men to share time and space to explore the magical dimension of life and deepen their spiritual connection to nature.

SING (external link) is non-dogmatic; people from any faith and background are welcome. You are encouraged to have and develop your own direct connection to nature, and experience the Divine through the natural world as it reveals itself to you.

This particular SING (there are dozens across the country) is specifically for men in the Pioneer Valley to share this space in community.

Why is this SING exclusive to men?

The heart of the medicine I offer, and what I wish to contribute to the collective, is a healthy Divine Masculine, one that is open-hearted, connected to nature, and in a sacred, honorable, balanced dance with the Divine Feminine.

Nature is our Earth Mother. She is the loudest physical embodiment of Divine Feminine energy that we have access to. As men, it is our responsibility to shift our personal relationship to the Divine Feminine, and connecting with Nature in this way is a powerful step to that end. To connect spiritually, we must be quiet, humble, earnest, and open-hearted. Cultivating this energy within ourselves is how we can help change the world.

This group offers an opportunity for us to cultivate this energy within ourselves, examine and deconstruct what we have internalized that is of the more toxic and imbalanced ways of being, and support each other in growing into better men. When we come together as men in this way, we can loudly reverberate this needed medicine out into the world.

“The land is the real teacher. All we need as students is mindfulness. Paying attention is a form of reciprocity with the living world, receiving the gifts with open eyes and open heart.”

- Robin Wall Kimmerer

Details

We will meet twice a month, once in-person and once over Zoom. The in-person meetings will include hikes, ceremony, and other mindful nature-based spiritual experiences. Our virtual meetings will provide a space to connect with each other and step into a nature-based practice where you are.

While each meeting will flow organically, we will have specific intentions each time.

Each meeting, both virtual and in-person, will include space to be silent and have your own personal connection to the natural world, specific spiritual/shamanic practices, and time for group sharing and collective support.
